Kentucky Anesthesia Group board-certified anesthesiologists and certified registered nurse anesthetists do the following:
- Evaluate medical history, medical condition and readiness for surgery
- Consult with other members of the medical and surgical teams
- Administer pain-relieving drugs and local, regional and general anesthesia
- Monitor and regulate all vital signs and critical life functions during procedures
- Diagnose and treat any surgical and anesthesia complications during surgery

- Before surgery | we review each patient’s medical history, discuss the plan for anesthesia and answer any questions the patient might have. We may also initiate regional nerve blocks and catheters to aid with pain control after surgery.
- During surgery | our anesthesiologists have experience with complex cases, including difficult airways and patients with multiple allergies.
- After surgery | patients will receive a multi-modal approach to pain control with different oral and intravenous medications.
